What is Textile Manufacturing?

Textile manufacturing is a major industry. It is largely based on the conversion of fibre into yarn, then yarn into fabric. Knitted fabric is the second major type of fabric used following the woven. It has a characteristic of accommodating the body contour and providing the ease of movement. It is particularly a comfortable form of fabric structure for sports, casual wear, and undergarment. Knitted fabrics include weft types and the warp types, raschel, and tricot.

Garment Manufacturing:
